This service allows you to look up license-related information managed by a wide range of regulatory agencies in the State of Maine. Each search option allows you to target your search to just the information you need. Details pertaining to each search option follows.
Search Individuals
Use this option to search for licensed or registered individuals. You can use the various search options to narrow your results. At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Last Name, License Number, U.S. address with either City, County, Zip or non-Maine State, or a Country outside the U.S.

| Last Name | You can narrow your search by entering the characters that begin the licensee's last name. For example, entering "SMITH" will return only licensees whose last name begins with "SMITH" (e.g., SMITH, SMITHE, SMITHSON). |
| First Name | You can narrow your search by entering the characters that begin the licensee's first name. For example, entering "JAN" will return all licensees whose first name begins with "JAN" (e.g., JANE, JANET, JAN). |
| License Number | You can narrow your search by entering a specific license number. License numbers generally begin with a series of letters followed by numbers. You can enter either the full number (e.g., AB12345) or just the numeric portion (e.g., 12345). |
| Profession | If you have chosen to search a single regulator, you can further narrow your search by selecting a profession. |
| Country | You can narrow your search by the country listed in the licensee's address. |
| City | You can narrow your search by entering the characters that begin the U.S. city listed in the licensee's address. For example, entering "FRE" will return all licensees with U.S. city names that begin with "FRE" (e.g., FREEPORT, FREEDOM). |

| Authority/Specialty/Qualification | If you have chosen to search a single regulator, you can further narrow your search to only licenses with specific authorities, specialties or qualifications. You can select more than one authority, specialty or qualification by holding down the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and clicking on as many entries as you would like. When "Match All" is chosen, only licenses that have all of the selected authorities will be returned. When "Match Any" is chosen, licenses that have one or more of the selected authorities will be returned. |
| Include prior names in search | If you have chosen to search by providing a first and/or last name, you can use this option to search not only the licensee's current name, but previous (such as maiden) names as well. Even when a match is found using a licensee's previous name, their current name will show in the search results. |

Search Companies
Use this option to search for licensed or registered companies. You can use the various search options to narrow your results. At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Company Name, License Number, U.S. address with either City, County, Zip or non-Maine State, or a Country outside the U.S.

Entering "STA" and the "Contains" option will return only licensees whose company name contains "STA" (e.g., APEX STADIUM GROUP, PRESTARE INC). |

Search Securities
Use this option to search for licensed or registered securities. You can use the various search options to narrow your results. At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Issuer Name, Fund Name, Security Description or License Number.

Search Worksite Permits
Use this option to search for Worksite Permits. At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Permit Number, Street Number, Partial Street Name, Issue Date Range, U.S. address with either City, County, Zip or non-Maine State, or a Country outside the U.S. If only searching by Issue Date, both the “From” date and “To” date must be specified.

Search Events
Use this option to search for permitted events. At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Permit Number, Event scheduled date range, U.S. address with either City, County, Zip or non-Maine State, or a Country outside the U.S. If only searching by Event scheduled date, both the “From” date and “To” date must be specified.

Use this option to search for licenses and registrations other than individuals, companies and securities (e.g., Activities, ATMs, Boilers, Elevators). At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Registration Number, U.S. address with either City, County, Zip or non-Maine State, or a Country outside the U.S.

Search Disciplinary Actions
Use this option to search for resolved disciplinary actions. You can use the various search options to narrow your results. Note: To search by licensee, select the search page for that licensee type and search for the desired licensee. The actions related to a licensee appear on the detail page for that licensee. At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Case ID or Disciplinary Action Date range. If only searching by Disciplinary Action Date, both the “From” date and “To” date must be specified.

Use this option to search for a course. You can use the various search options to narrow your results. The regulator must be specified for a search to be performed. At least one of the following fields must be specified for a search to be performed: Regulator (Other than “ALL”), Course Number or Course Name.
